About Our Company
Noroc's mission is to deliver broadband Internet connectivity to businesses in Central Pennsylvania while providing web and data services worldwide.
Broadband Internet pricing is largely related to geography. Our robust microwave network enables us to peer with upstream carriers at locations that deliver the best value for the dollar. We provide bandwidth within our coverage area without regard for how far our client is from the telco's central office. Microwave Metro Ethernet with Noroc Broadband is the perfect alternative to costly leased lines.
Our company was originally formed in 2002 by Ryan Parthemore and Daniel Hoffman who attended Central Dauphin High School together and remain close friends. The pair combined wireless local loop experience with years in the information technology industry to create the beginnings of the Noroc business plan.
Today Noroc is one of the communications companies managed by the Parthemore Family in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Noroc now provides data services beyond basic bandwidth in response to the evolving needs of our clients. Hosted spam and virus e-mail filtering services along with data recovery services are now part of our portfolio of services - focusing on our customers' needs so that they can focus on their business.
